OMG I almost peed myself laughing! That expression is only funny when it’s NOT true. Bladder leakage is no laughing matter. I know firsthand about the anxiety around having an accident. It alters your quality of life. Thankfully, there’s Viita.
1 in 3 Women Suffer with Bladder Leakage
Bladder leakage aka incontinence is defined as ANY amount of urine leaked when you are not sitting on the toilet with your pants around your ankles.Â
Viita Protects Your Dignity
Stylish and Comfortable
Viita absorbent panties are made of cotton and spandex with lace trim. The feminine designs look and feel like regular underwear. They’ll be your little secret.
You can choose between beige or black, mid-waist or high-waist styles. They’re designed to work for even the most active women. Sizes range from S-XXL.
How Viita Panties Work
Viita offers 3 different levels of protection. The patented technology can absorb 29ml and up to 118ml of liquid. The 3-layer absorption system helps keep you feeling dry at all times. The fabric is antibacterial and ultra thin.
Viita products are made right here in Canada. You know we love local!
Incontinence after childbirth is common, but not normal. It’s kind of like having a cold. Yes, it’s common, but it’s not our normal state of health.
Trish Gipson is a physiotherapist at Envision Physiotherapy in Vancouver. She specializes in pre- and post-natal care, pelvic and perineal re-education. Trish says, “Maintaining continence is about so much more than just squeezing your pelvic floor muscles. It is about maintaining ideal posture, breathing correctly, and optimizing coordination between the diaphragm, abdominal muscles and pelvic floor. Pelvic health physiotherapists can help with all of this.”
At my Fit 4 Two® Pre and Postnatal Fitness classes, I preach about pelvic floor health as well as preventing/correcting incontinence. I’ve been known to go on about the importance of seeking professional help. However, I acknowledge it’s not something you can correct overnight. That’s why I was happy to discover and recommend Viita.
Unlike adult diapers and absorbent pads, these panties are discreet and even sexy. Furthermore, they are high-tech and environmentally friendly. Most importantly though, they’ll protect your dignity and give you peace of mind.
In BC, you can purchase Viita at London Drugs, Pharmasave and IDA.
I sincerely hope you never need to wear absorbent underwear, but if you do, you’ll want to be wearing Viita.

January 23, 2017 at 3:29 pmTotally had that ‘omg’ moment a few months back and I had to laugh because if I didn’t I would have cried. It was one of those moments when I was reminded that my body isn’t the same since having kids, and even though that’s not a bad thing, it ca play with your mind a bit. I know I have to work on some pelvic floor exercises- gotta stop making excuses! Thanks for sharing about this, this is the reality of post- baby bodies!

I know exactly what you mean! Many new moms want to lose the baby weight and “get their body back”. Meanwhile, they’re walking around afraid of having an accident if they cough/sneeze/laugh and unaware there is help out there.
